Summary of Darwin / NT Australia Grand Hotels Energy Audits by Branimir.
Summary of NT Grand Hotels Energy Audits, for Power & Water Corporation.
Ten of these projects have been qualified for the P$W Corp Subsidy. BMB has been accredited by P&W Corp as Special Services' Provider, and has been contracted to perform the energy audits of the selected participating hotels with 50% subsidy from the P&W Corp. The large hotels from the major NT cities: Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine, Tenant Creek. The annual electricity consumption was over 1mil kwh per each selected client. BMB has prepared a program of energy auditing the ten selected hotels.
Further, BMB has prepared & demonstrated a suitable data acquisition & process supervision systems, as one of pre-conditions for accreditation & subcontracting by P&W Corp. Two such systems have been prepared by BMB.
The first one, BMB - Pico Technology was a DAQ system based on Pico Technology Ltd.'s and BMB's Proprietory equipment (PicoLog, PicoScope, ADC-11, ADC-16, ADC-22, …). Sampling frequencies up to 1kHZ, multi - channel data acquisition (over 100 channels, simultaneously).
The second system mwas based on the National Instrument's technology: NI Hardware (SCXI) and LabVIEW graphical software platform. Up to 100kHz sampling frequency. Precise system.
According to the Australian standards, there are four levels of energy audit complexity:
Walk-Through Energy Audit,
Level 1 Energy Audit,
Level 2 Energy Audit, and
Specialist's Energy Audit.
All projects have required a comprehensive Report that had to be verified & accepted by both the Customer and the P&W Corp, in order the subsidy to be realized.
All Reports are available to the publics, upon request and subsequent permission of the P&WCorp, or from BMB.
