Renewable System (RS) - application for the rebate MUST be preceded with and Energy Audit and the Load-Side Power Demand action undertaken (to reduce the load, level the demand and improve the efficiency of energy use).

RS design, installation and operation MUST be followed by some monitoring and recording system. Some level of control is needed, to (to switch, for instance, one energy source from another, or to control the load leveling).

'RUNNING & STORED WATER and SOLAR (both DIRECT & INDIRECT) energy are some potential diesel replacements.'

RS in place is covered by some sort of insurance, such as Public Liability and similar.
