APPOINTMENT: R&D Engineer.

The POPOVAC Cement Factory was among the largest cement plant groups at the Balkan Peninsula. Over 2,000 employees (200 highly educated), it dealt with production of cement and related products, but also with the R&D in the areas of interest, the general investment, transport and several other business activities. The Company was organized in five main Departments - Production, Transport & Maintenance, Sales, Research & Development and Common Business. Being Master of Science and Dipl.Ing.EE, my work started as an Independent R&D Engineering at the R&D Department. The intention was to become acquainted with the plant to be able to make a proposal for action, with regard to the factory modernization issues.
